Sonrise National Park VBS
From July 28 to Aug. 1, children 4 years old through fifth-grade are invited to join First Congregational Church of Claridon and Lighthouse United Methodist Church for Sonrise National Park kids adventure camp, a vacation Bible school at First Congregational Church, 13942 Mayfield Road. The free camp runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Campers will enjoy music, Bible stories, crafts, games and snacks.
The mission project is to support the Geauga County Dog Warden.
Preregistration is recommended.

God Shares a Meal
First United Methodist Church of Middlefield hosts free meals to the community the last Friday of each month. The next God Shares a Meal will take place July 25 from 4-6:30 p.m.
All are welcome. The church is handicap accessible.

Oxtravaganza
Oxtravaganza 2014 takes place July 26 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and July 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Word of Grace Church, 9021 Mayfield Road in Chester Township.
The event includes an ox roast, community-wide garage sale and flea market, swimming, games, kid’s zone and giveaways.
There will be musical entertainment on Saturday.
An outdoor worship service will take place under the tent at 10:30 a.m. Sunday followed by a water baptism service at 11:30 a.m.
Admission is free.
