Driving Tour
First Congregational Church of Claridon is sponsoring a driving tour on Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. to view the murals painted by Rev. Willard Strong in churches throughout Geauga and Ashtabula counties.
The tour will begin at First Congregational Church of Claridon with an introduction by the Strong family and visit six sites before returning to the church with a lunch to follow.
The tour is by donation; all donations will be collected for the Willard and Elizabeth Strong Scholarship.

Pilgrim Christian VBS
Pilgrim Christian Church will hold Animal Crackers vacation Bible school Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 202 S. Hambden St. in Chardon. The one-day program is for children 3 years old through fifth grade. Lunch is included.
There is no charge, however, any offerings collected will be donated to the International Heifer Project.
Registration is limited; call the church office at 440-285-8791 by Aug. 6.
