The Daniel Plan

Chardon United Methodist Church invites you to join The Daniel Plan, based on the book of the same name.

The Daniel Plan will be offered Saturday mornings from 9-11 a.m. for 12 weeks, beginning Jan. 17. The mornings will include some light exercise.

The Daniel Plan outlines a healthy lifestyle program, based on five essential principles of faith, food, fitness, focus and friends, and was written by Dr. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church and best-selling author of “The Purpose Driven Life,” along with renowned Drs. Daniel Amen and Mark Hyman.

The program was developed and originated at Saddleback Church in 2011 and within the first year more than 15,000 church members lost more than 250,000 pounds collectively, while experiencing decreases in health issues and stress and increases in spiritual growth and energy.

The church is at 515 North St. Call the church for more details, 440-285-4581.

Adult Bible Study

Chardon United Methodist Church is offering an adult bible study entitled, “The Healing Stories of Jesus,” every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m.

This study will explore the healing stories of Jesus recorded in the four Gospels. The only book required for the study is a Bible.

Each student will be provided a worksheet to guide them through each healing incident.

Interested in participating? Come to the church’s Fellowship Hall at 515 North St. The class is open to join anytime.
