Expedition Everest VBS

July 26-30, 6-8 p.m.

Children 4 years old through fifth-grade are invited to embark on an icy mountain adventure and explore one of the most majestic, beautiful places on earth at Chesterland Baptist Church Vacation Bible School, 12670 Chillicothe Road. Kids will discover God’s mighty power and promises and learn to overcome obstacles with God’s awesome power.

VBS is free and open to the community.

Chardon Baptist VBS

July 26-30, 6:15-8:30 p.m.

Children in grades kindergarten through sixth-grade are invited to attend “To the Edge … Encounter the God of the Universe” Vacation Bible School at Chardon Baptist Church, 363 Wilson Mills Road. An adult class will also be provided.

Activities include inspiring Bible lessons, great songs, crafts, CBC puppets, stargazing, game time and snacks.

St. Mark VBS

July 27-31, 9-11:30 a.m.

St. Mark Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School is open to all children ages 3 (potty trained) through those entering fifth grade.

Join to discover God’s plan and purpose. Children will learn that Jesus works in and through everyone.

Camp is free. It will be a week filled with songs, crafts, snacks, games and more.

G Force Adventure Camp

July 27-31, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Children 3 years old through fifth-grade are invited to join First Congregational Church of Claridon and Lighthouse United Methodist Church for G Force Adventure Camp, a free vacation Bible school held at First Congregational Church, 13942 Mayfield Road. Campers will enjoy music, Bible stories, songs, crafts, games and snacks.

Parents are invited for special activities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. On Friday at 6:30 p.m., Dennis Michelson, executive director of NAMI Geauga, will speak on how parents can help their kids resist drugs and alcohol.

The camp’s mission project is to support the Geauga Hunger Task Force with donations of nonperishable products.

Preregistration is recommended.
