Alpha at St. Anselm
The Alpha series is returning to St. Anselm this fall for 10 weeks of food and conversation about what it is to be a Christian. The series runs Thursdays, from 6:30-8:45 p.m., Sept. 10 through Nov. 12. Anyone wishing to investigate Christianity is invited.
Each evening begins with a meal, followed by a talk and small group discussion. The topic for Sept. 10 is “Who is Jesus.”

Intergenerational Bible Study
The community is invited to participate in Echo the Story, an all ages 12-week overview of the Biblical story to be held this fall at Christ Presbyterian Church, 12419 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township. The study runs Sundays, Aug. 30 through Nov. 15, from 9-10 a.m.
Stories from creation to the early church will be experienced through live storytelling, video and creative interaction, and then continued in 10:30 a.m. worship. Join and see God’s Big Story in a whole new way.

The Cafe

Join others from St. Anselm Church at Arabica Coffee House, 12626 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township. Buy a cup of coffee and a muffin and share your thoughts on the blessings in your life or just come and talk with others. All are welcome.
Outdoor Service, Ice Cream Social
Sept. 6, 10:30 a.m.
Chester Christian Center A/G Church will hold an outdoor service in the James B. Yeary Park and pavilion on the grounds of the church located at 11815 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Seating will be provided, but lawn chairs are welcome.
Following the service, there will be an old-fashioned ice cream social.
Divorce Care
New Promise Church, located at 8671 Euclid-Chardon Road in Kirtland, will begin its next Divorce Care program at 7 p.m. Sept. 8. The program is designed to provide weekly support for those who are divorced or separated.
Total cost for the 13-week program is $30, which includes workshop and materials. Call the church office 440-256-3705 for more information.
