Family Storytime

Aug. 2, 10:30-11 a.m.

Children of all ages may join Mr. Eli and Miss Amy outside for stories, music and crafts.

Get to Know Hoopla

Aug. 11, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Hoopla is a groundbreaking digital media service offered by the library that allows patrons to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, e-books, comics and TV shows to enjoy on a computer, tablet, phone or TV. Registration is required.

Summer Reading Award Ceremony

Aug. 11, 1-2 p.m.

The grand prizewinners will be announced, snack and games provided, and prizes will be available throughout the day. All ages.

Yoga

Aug. 17, 6:30-7:45 p.m.

Join an instructor and walk through different yoga poses. Instructor fee is $5.

Estate Planning 

Aug. 18, 2-3 p.m. 

This workshop takes a hands-on approach to learn about the foundational estate planning musts: pour-over will, trusts, healthcare POA, HIPAA, financial POA, living will, guardianship and executorship. Registration is required.

Baby/Toddler Story Time 

Aug. 23 and 30, 10-10:30 a.m.

Join for music and sensory activities every week. Ages 0-3.

Preschool Story Time

Aug. 24 and 31, 10:30-11 a.m.

Youth ages 3-5 may join Mrs. Amy for stories, song, dance and bubbles.

Movin’ and Groovin’ Story Time

Aug. 26, 9:30-10 a.m.

All ages may join for a musical story time with Mr. Eli. Bring instruments and come ready to dance.

Opera Structure Through the Ages

Aug. 30, 2-3 p.m.

Learn about the various formal, harmonic and poetic structures that composers and librettists have employed through the centuries. Registration is required.

Dungeons and Dragons Fall Campaign

Aug. 30, 3-4:45 p.m.

Youth in grades five and up may join in a DMed campaign that is geared toward beginners, but those who have played before are also welcome. Registration is required.

Expressionist Art Lesson

Aug. 31, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Prepare for the Kids’ Art Show with an art lesson. Youth in grades K-5 will learn about Vincent van Gogh and make their own expressionist art. Registration is required.
