Movin’ and Groovin’ Storytime

July 4, 14, 21 and 28, 10-10:30 a.m.

All ages may join for a musical story time with Mr. Eli. Feel free to bring instruments and come ready to dance – perfect for kids who have trouble sitting still.

Family Storytime

July 5, 12, 19 and 26, 10:30-11 a.m.

Join Ms. Amy for stories, song, dance and bubbles in a storytime geared for children 3-5 years with their families.

Book and Activity Club 

July 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2-3 p.m.

Join the weekly All Together Now Intergenerational Book and Activity Club with guests from the local memory unit. Participants will work together on crafts and read together. Registration is required.

Yoga

July 5, 12 and 19, 6:30-7:45 p.m.

Join an instructor as she walks through different yoga poses. Instructor fee is $5.

The Bubble Lady

July 6, 1-2 p.m.

She’s back with her magnificent bubbles.

Loose Leash Walking

July 6, 6-7 p.m.

Learn training tools and techniques to stop leash pulling and create more peaceful leash walks. Registration is required.

Read with NAMI Therapy Dogs

July 7, 1-2 p.m. 

Drop in at any point to read and relax with therapy dogs. Light snacks and books will be available. All ages.

Baby/Toddler Storytime

July 11, 18 and 25, 10-10:30 a.m.

Join for music, sensory activities and stories. Ages 0-3.

Community Mural

July 11, 2-3 p.m.  

Work together to re-create Burton in a wall mural. Cookies included. Registration is required.

Mark the Magician Show

July 13, 10-11 a.m.

Enjoy a magic show by Mark the Magician.

Book Club

July 13, 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Discuss “Sooley” by John Grisham.

Prevent Mouthing in Puppies

July 13, 6-7 p.m.

Learn some great techniques to stop and prevent puppies from biting and mouthing. Registration is required.

Friend Olympics

July 15, 2-3 p.m.

Bring a friend and pair up to compete in wacky games. Registration is required.

Inside Circle

July 17, 6-7 p.m.

Develop music skills with RockAbility members. The group will use music therapy techniques to develop rhythm and melody skills. Adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers are welcome. Bring an instrument or use one of the library’s.

First Time Home Buyers Class 

July 18, 6-7 p.m.

Learn about what one is getting into if thinking about buying a house. Registration is required.

Chat with Dino Matt

July 20, 1-2 p.m. 

Youth in grades K-6 will chat with Matt about dinosaur friends and complete dinosaur themed activities. Registration is required.

Sensory Day

July 25, 2-3 p.m.

Special needs community members may come with a caregiver and play in bubbles, make bubble wrap stamp art, play with playdough and jam out to music. Registration is required.

Remember the Ladies

July 27, 6-7pm.  

Learn about a woman’s place in old Geauga. Learn about their adventures and how they defined their place in Geauga County’s heritage.

Care Package Get-Together

July 31, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Women together will gather all of the items donated throughout the month and create care packages for WomenSafe.
