DivorceCare Class
A new DivorceCare program begins on Sept. 11 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Cornerstone Friends Church, 2300 Hubbard Road in Madison. Classes will meet for 13 weeks and are open to those who are separated or divorced. A variety of topics and a video presentation are covered each week.
Cost is $25. Scholarships are available for those with financial need. Childcare is available through the children’s ministry for those through grade five.

Divorcecare Program
Sept. 13, 7-9 p.m.
The DivorceCare program at New Promise Church, 8671 Euclid-Chardon Road in Kirtland, begins Sept. 13 and continues each Tuesday for 13 weeks. The program is designed for people experiencing separation and divorce.
Guests are welcome to begin attending any week; each session is self-contained. Total cost for the 13-week program is $30.

Community Day of Prayer
Sept. 17, 11 a.m. to noon
The fifth annual Community Day of Prayer for our nation will be held, rain or shine, at the gazebo on Chardon Square. Presented by Mike Farrell and Patriot Citizens of Our Community, all are welcome to come pray for the nation and its religious freedom. Bring an American flag and chair to celebrate Constitution Day.
Speakers include Pastor Barber, Huntsburg Congregational Church; Father Redmond, St. Mary’s Church of Chardon and St. Patrick; Pastor Chesnes, Morning Star Friends Church; Father Burkley, St. Lucy’s Mission and St. Edwards Church; Mike Farrell, Geauga Faith Rescue Mission; Nathan Long, missionary; and the Geauga Youth Orchestra.

Grief Share
Sept. 25, 9 a.m.
New Promise Church, 8671 Euclid- Chardon Road, will offer another Grief Share 13-week program beginning Sept. 25.
The workshop is designed for people experiencing the loss of a loved one and will include videos, group discussions, and Biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics.
