Winter Reading
Jan. 1 – Feb. 28
The Winter Reading Challenge returns for another snow-filled year. Register at GeaugaLibrary.Beanstack.org/Reader365 and complete a reading or activity log each week to be entered into a prize drawing, which will take place at the end of the event.
Storytimes
Join for a storytime that is sure to engage, connect and inspire children. A variety of dates, branch locations and times to choose from for targeted age groups are located on the website’s programs calendar.

Puzzle Exchange

Bring in a jigsaw to exchange for a new one.
Crepe Paper Poppies
Jan. 28, 2-4 p.m. • Bainbridge
Learn how to create a life-like poppy by melding different shapes and colors of crepe paper together with hot glue to create a flower or bouquet.
Mindful Monday
Jan. 30, 4-5 p.m. • Chardon
Teens in grades 6-12 will relax and de-stress with hands-on crafts and activities, coloring, music, and self-care tips, all about mindfulness.
Stitching Circle
Jan. 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m. • Bainbridge
Bring handcrafted projects and stitch in good company. All knitters, crocheters, cross-stitchers, needle-pointers and any other textile-based crafters are welcome to join in.
Medicare 101
Jan. 31, 7-8 p.m. • Bainbridge
Join Marcy Rosenthal, a licensed Medicare insurance advisor, for an educational program to learn the basics about out how Medicare works and what coverage options may be best.
Teen Cooking
Feb. 1, 3:30-4:30 p.m. • Bainbridge
Teens in grades 6-12 will learn how to make and properly eat different types of dumplings from around the world and different cultures.
Creative Writing
Feb. 1, 7-8:15 p.m. • Bainbridge & Virtual
Join for a program designed to encourage the creative, literary mind. Prompts will be provided for in-house writing, though narratives created outside of the program are encouraged to be brought and shared with other attendees.
