Be An Agent Of Discovery
Embark on a new learning experience using Geauga Park District’s new location-based game, Agents of Discovery, featuring new “missions” to accept each month at The West Woods. Just bring a smart device to the park, open the free Agents of Discovery app while standing in front of the nature center, and search available missions to play.
As part of each new mission, the app will relay which trails to walk that month, and as participants approach each of the eight challenges, their devices will alert them when it’s time to play one.
Participants will not only explore the park and learn about its wild inhabitants, but they’ll be rewarded in prizes when they show their finish screen at the nature center front desk. Anyone with a mobile device can play, and the app is free. Play solo or together with friends and family. Remember, each month brings a new mission to the park, so make sure to come back monthly during all four seasons to play them all.

Catch A Flick Under The Stars
Free outdoor movies return to Observatory Park in Montville Township this summer, including “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on June 24; Disney’s “Encanto” on July 22; and the classic “Singin’ in the Rain” on Aug. 12.
All shows begin at dusk, with guest arrival beginning at 8:30 p.m. Bring blankets, chairs, snacks, water and bug spray – plus, at the August movie only, enjoy free ice cream treats from a truck while supplies last.
