American Red Cross urges people to make and keep appointments to help avoid a blood shortage.

Donation appointments may be made by downloading the free Blood Donor app, visitingRedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767. Power Reds are available.

July 6, Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge Township, 12-6 p.m.

July 7 and 21, Munson Town Hall, 12210 Auburn Road, Munson Township, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

July 13, Chagrin Valley Jaycee’s/Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge Township, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free Cedar Point tickets will be given to all donors.

July 16, Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Help for Mental Illness

NAMI Geauga offers mental health support groups and classes for families and persons affected by mental illness. There is no charge to participants. All offerings are 100% peer led and meet in person or on Zoom.
