Polka Band Leads Worship

Aug. 28, 9:30 a.m.

Join the Chardon Polka Band as it leads a worship service at Celebration Lutheran Church, 10621 Auburn Road, Chardon.

Following the service, the Chardon Polka Band will present a free concert at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Members of the congregation will provide a picnic lunch for those in attendance. Bring a lawn chair.

Join others from St. Anselm Church at Arabica Coffee House, 12626 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township. Buy a cup of coffee and a muffin and share your thoughts on the blessings in your life or just come and talk with others. All are welcome.

DivorceCare Class

A new DivorceCare program begins on Sept. 11 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Cornerstone Friends Church, 2300 Hubbard Road in Madison. Classes will meet for 13 weeks and are open to those who are separated or divorced. A variety of topics and a video presentation are covered each week.

Cost is $25. Scholarships are available for those with financial need. Child care is available through the children’s ministry for those through grade five.
