Blue Christmas Service

Dec. 9, 7 p.m.

Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St., will hold its Blue Christmas service of comfort, remembrance and hope. Christmas is not always merry. Whatever the reason, you are not alone. Jesus holds the future.

Santa Meets Jesus

Dec. 11, 4-7 p.m.

New Promise Church will host Santa Meets Jesus, a special evening that includes a live nativity, Santa’s House, Reindeer Hideout, Elf Workshop, Playland, Kids Playland, Christmas Gift Hut, North Pole Express, face painting and Snowflake Cafe. Guests may also get a free photo with Santa. Santa will tell the true meaning of Christmas.

Community Christmas Concert

Dec. 20, 7:30 p.m.

The Little Church in the Vale’s ninth Community Christmas Concert, featuring award winning soprano vocalist Lindsey Sandham Leonard with jazz pianist Ed Leonard and Lincoln Sandham on piano and vocals, will take place at the church located at 610 Chagrin River Road in Gates Mills.

The free concert will include a selection of Christmas favorites. A reception with refreshments will follow the concert.
