First UMC Dinner, Auction

April 29, 5:30 p.m.

A prime rib dinner and silent auction will be held at First UMC of Middlefield, 14999 So. State Ave., to help pay off the church’s land fund loan. Tickets are presale only for $25 per person. Call Nancy Cline at 440-632-9053.

National Day of Prayer

May 4, noon

All are invited to come to the gazebo on Chardon Square to celebrate the National Day of Prayer. The brief gathering sponsored by the Chardon Ministerial Association will join with other faithful across the country meeting at the same time to address national concerns through communal prayer. Prayers from those unable to attend will be gratefully appreciated.
