Middlefield United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to “Hero Central” Vacation Bible School with Bible stories, crafts, games, snacks, singing and fun.

St. Mark Lutheran VBS

July 24-28, 9-11:30 a.m.

Children ages 3 (potty trained) through those entering fifth grade are welcome to register for “In Mighty Fortress” Vacation Bible School at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township.

Children will learn that in Jesus, the victory is won and enjoy fun songs, crafts, snacks, games and more.

New Promise VBS

New Promise Church, 8671 Euclid-Chardon Road in Kirtland, is now registering kids in grades K-6 for Vacation Bible School.

Fees are $85 per child for full day, or $30 for half day from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Summer Fun Fest

New Promise Church, 8671 Euclid-Chardon Road in Kirtland, will hold its annual Summer Fun Fest.

The community family event includes kids games, inflatables, carnival games, water games, paint ball, cake walk, wagon rides, corn hole tournament, food, ice cream and more.

Crop Walk Rally

July 27, 5:30 p.m.

Area churches interested in stamping out world hunger are invited to an organizational meeting and rally for the 2017 Greg Weemhoff Crop Walk in Geauga County. Come to the Claridon Congregational Church, 13942 Mayfield Road, for a light supper. Materials will be distributed for the Crop Walk that takes place Sept. 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Burton.

Twenty-five percent of the funds raised are donated to the Geauga Hunger Task Force, with 75 percent to Church World Service. For more information, call Carane Ladd at 440-286-4671.

Deep Sea Discovery VBS

Aug. 6-10, 6-8 p.m.

Huntsburg Congregational Church will host Deep Sea Discovery Vacation Bible School for children in grades kindergarten through 12 at the church located at 12435 Madison Road in Huntsburg Township. Interpretation for the deaf is available. Younger children are welcome with family participation.
