Gospel According to Scrooge
Chester Christian Center A/G church will present “The Gospel According to Scrooge,” a musical adaptation of a Christmas classic, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Performed by a cast and crew of adults and children with full period costumes, the church has been presenting this beloved classic for 19 years.
Admission is free to this event, but donations of nonperishable food items for the CCC Food Pantry are requested.
Chester Christian Center A/G church is located at 11815 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township.
Live Nativity
Hambden Congregational Church, 13840 G.A.R. Highway, will present its 13th annual live outdoor Nativity Dec. 13 from 5-8 p.m. Admission is free.
In addition, numerous Nativity sets and biblical scenes will be on display inside the church. A children’s craft center and free refreshments will be set up in fellowship hall.

Service of Solace
Holidays can be a very difficult time for some. Federated Church offers support for those in need with a Service of Solace on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel at 76 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls.
The service will include singing, praying and reflecting and all are welcome to attend, whether in need or willing to offer support and compassion. There will be a time for fellowship and support following the service.
