Christmas Story Cantata
“The Christmas Story” Cantoria Choir Cantata by Tom Fettke and Thomas Grassi, under the direction of Linda Prusha, will be presented at 8:45 a.m. Dec. 21 at Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North. St.
The story of Christmas is filled with glorious images of promise, joy, love, faith, worship and a Baby, God’s great gift of salvation. The composers of the work have selected a blend of 13 familiar and lesser-known carols to tell the timeless tale of Christmas. Solos, duets, piano, orchestration and congregational participation add to the artful, worshipful experience.
All are welcome to join in the magical retelling of “The Christmas Story.”
Christmas Eve Services
Chester Christian Center A/G church, 11815 Chillicothe Road, will be observing the Christmas season with a Christmas Eve candlelight service starting at 6 p.m.
