Alpha at St. Anselm

The Alpha series is returning to St. Anselm this fall for 10 weeks of food and conversation about what it is to be a Christian.

The series runs Thursdays, from 6:30-8:45 p.m., Sept. 10 through Nov. 12. Anyone wishing to investigate Christianity is invited.

Each evening begins with a meal, followed by a talk and small group discussion. The topic for Sept. 10 is “Who is Jesus.”

BCUCC Messy Church Services

Sept. 13, 4 p.m.

Bainbridge Community United Church of Christ will be hosting its first monthly Messy Church service, an experience that creates space for families and people of all ages and abilities to worship God and encourage faith through story, creativity and song.

Messy Church will continue throughout the church year on the second Sunday of each month at 4 p.m. at the church located at 17751 Chillicothe Road, just south of Route 422.

Catholics Coming Home

Tuesdays, Oct. 6 – Nov. 7, 7-8:30 p.m.

Divine Word Church in Kirtland is holding Catholics Coming Home, nonjudgmental program designed to reach out and invite inactive and non-practicing Catholics to return to the Catholic church and reactivate their faith.

Six weekly sessions will provide updated information on the basics of Catholicism in a supportive atmosphere in the Divine Word rectory, 8100 Eagle Road in Kirtland
