Young Of Heart 

Aug. 20, 11:30 a.m. 

St. Anselm Young of Heart will resume regular meetings again at the parish center. Bring a brown bag lunch. Refreshments will be limited and there will be no entertainment.

Meetings will again be held on the first and third Friday of every month. Members from 2020 do not have to pay dues; however, anyone wishing to join for the remainder of the year may join for $10.

Chardon Senior Trash Pickup

Sept. 17

The City of Chardon will work with the Geauga County Department on Aging employees and volunteers to offer trash pickup days for registered seniors 60 years and older who live in the city.

First, seniors must register with the Department on Aging by Sept. 10 or earlier in order to be placed on the pickup roster.

All refuse items must be outside by garages, outbuildings or driveway the evening before the scheduled pickup. Road crews and the department on aging staff cannot enter homes. Do not leave items curbside.

For specific allowable trash guidelines or to register, call 440-279-2129. Please have a list of items needing removal.
