Young of Heart 

Sept. 2, 11:30 a.m.

Geauga Young of Heart will meet at St. Anselm Parish Center in Chester Township. Bring a brown bag lunch. Snacks and beverage are provided. Entertainment will be by Dan Karl with his keyboard, guitar and vocals.

A trip is planned for Oct. 15 to Das Dutch Inn in Columbiana for a lunch and show, “A Big Band Salute to the Military.” Also included are stops at Fellows Riverside Gardens and White House Fruit Farm, with a special treat on the way home. Medicare 101

Sept. 19, 7 p.m.

Geauga County Department on Aging’s Kathy Petrella will present an introductory overview of Medicare for seniors new to Medicare at Chardon Library, 110 East Park St. Topics include: Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and Medicare supplementals. Petrella will educate and guide seniors through their first experience with Medicare.
